3D scanning and reverse engineering is an easy and accurate solution to produce precise 3D models of both large and small objects alike. In this case, our client required 3D models of a set of sample surgical instruments for product marketing.
The project brief
BMS were required to 3D scan and then reverse engineer a set of medical instruments into 3D CAD models to enable them to then be modelled and 3D visualised for product marketing.
The instruments were firstly 3D scanned and then converted into parametric 3D CAD models.
