Engineering

Design and Drafting Contractors

We convert; rough hand drawings, blue prints & 2D drawings (including AutoCad) to 3D CAD models & produce outstanding fully detailed working drawings fit for manufacture to send straight to our, or your, CAD CAM systems for manufacture saving the valuable time and money. We offer on site or remote services, we use the latest on line project management software to ensure everyone is fully up to speed 24 hours a day.

Reverse Engineering

You may need to measure something very accurately or it may be a complex shape. We utilise the very latest technology, CMM, FARO and 3D scanning tools to produce perfect 3d models and class A surfaces for tooling. Components can then be sent for 3D printing or stereolithography.

Petrochemical Oil & Gas Design

An example of some of our current work is the design and manufacture of pipe clamp supports for the petrochemical industry. Our clients present sketches of the problematic scenarios, our engineers 3D model the scenarios which then enables optimisation of the clamp design. Once the design is signed off, assembly and parts drawings are created, checked and sent back the client for production.

Product Design & Styling

Styling can often make or break a product but simplicity is essential. We believe that our previous work speaks for itself. Our specialist in house artists will develop beautiful concepts for you to choose from.

Prototyping and Tooling

Our in depth expertise in fast prototyping methods and computer aided design and machining mean that production moulds and formers can be realised in an efficient and cost effective fashion – with minimum need to adjust or rework the resultant tools.

Automotive Design Engineers & Project Management

The core of our experience is in the automotive sector and we are fully capable of producing bespoke vehicles for, race, rally, road (and electric) and off road. From formula ford to British GT and World Rally Car design and manufacture. We are currently working on an electric sports car for the road. We develop full vehicle projects for niche small volume OEMs & sub system components for chassis, suspension and fuel systems. We have a lot of experience working with TVR Sports Cars, Ginetta, GM and Lotus, from concept and styling to chassis and suspension geometry design and fabrication to road testing and vehicle dynamics. Partners include Pirelli Tyres, Goodyear, Multimatic, Mira, MSA and the FIA

SolidWorks Training

With over 10 years practical real life experience using SolidWorks, on a daily basis, our one day starter course will seriously speed up your design time. Having learnt the hard way we know there are many different ways of performing the same tasks but some are far quicker. Automating commands repeating or copying similar parts, drawings, assemblies and sheet metal components will save your designers hours of time. Our fees our half what you will find it anywhere else because our overheads are kept low.

Machined Components

Our experience in the Automotive sector has helped us design for aesthetics, weight and cost. From fixtures and fittings to valves, wheels, uprights, castings, casings, suspension, steering, NVH and chassis components.

Software Feasibility & Installation

We help clients find the right CAD software for their company and offer CAD training. A quick feasibility study to determine your product needs verses cost and ongoing efficiency. We minimise down time and convert old drawings into new formats for example AutoCad to SolidWorks supply the most cost effective hardware to run the software. With over 10 years experience using CAD software in various industries we will provide a non bias view that best suits your business today and for the future.
